
The Posers started out as a solo project by Casey Waddell in October of 2004 after being removed from Acid Blonde. Eric joined around early December, and they released their first CD, "The Posers", on January 7, 2005. They started out just having fun and recording, but recently they have become more serious with their endeavors and have started playing live.
Casey Waddell
Plays: Vocals, guitar, bass, synthetic drums.
Bio: Casey has been in a number of bands such as Removed, Fetus Aliens, Mr. Blonde (which later became Acid Blonde). Casey has been singing all of his life and has been writing songs since the age of 15. He knew he wanted to play music the first time he heard Nirvana. Now he's not just influenced by Alternative Rock, but also everything from Folk to Industrial.
One word to describe Casey: Quacktastic.

Laney
Plays: Guitar, vocals, mandolin.
Bio: Eric has played Bluegrass forever, and excellent guitarist, and one of the best mandolin players in Eastern Kentucky. Hes recorded two CDs other than "The Posers," one with musician Joe Bowling, and the other with guitarist Chris Barker. He enjoys a wide range of music, anything from Bluegrass to Rock.
